The Open University of Sri Lanka (OUSL) is the only Open and Distance Learning (ODL) National University in Sri Lanka, The OUSL celebrates its forty (40) years of existence in the year 2020 as a progressive and inclusive educational institution.

The Annual Conference of the Asian Association of Open Universities planned to be held from 21st to 23rd October 2020 has been rescheduled for 1st to 3rd June 2021 at the Cinnamon Grand Hotel in Colombo Sri Lanka.
