The Emergency Medicine Foundation Programme

The Emergency Medicine Foundation Programme (EMFP) is a one-year Emergency Medicine curriculum, aimed at junior trainees (2-3 years post qualification) outside the UK. The programme includes a bespoke curriculum, access to an online portfolio and eLearning site, as well as a Train the Trainer programme for senior clinicians. The Royal College of Emergency Medicine (RCEM) have now completed a pilot in India and Pakistan, this programme successfully trained 65 trainees across 5 sites and we are now opening registration for sites to join in year 2 to start in 2021. Now the programme is also available at Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto Medical University starting from year 2021.
