Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto Medical University (SZABMU) celebrated Pakistan’s 79th Independence Day with a dignified and patriotic ceremony held at the University today.

Prof. Dr. Tanwir Khaliq, Vice Chancellor SZABMU, and Prof. Dr. Syed Tanseer Asghar, Registrar SZABMU, graced the occasion with their presence and addressed the gathering. In their speeches, they highlighted the significance of Independence Day and emphasized the values of national unity, dedication, integrity, and service to the country.

The University leadership also acknowledged and appreciated the valuable contributions, dedication, and hard work of all departments of SZABMU, recognizing their continued efforts towards the University’s progress, institutional development, and excellence.

The ceremony was attended by senior officers, faculty members, and staff, including Prof. Dr. Mohsin Shahzad, Dr. Khalid Niaz, Dr. Syeda Kiran Riaz, Abdul Qudus, Usman Majeed, Tahir Mehmood, Ch. Rohail Mehdi, Aamir Masood Khan, Muhammad Usman, Ammar Ahmed, Zeeshan Ali Sultan, Hina Rafique Butt, Dr. Syed Majid Khalil, Dr. Bushra Gul, Dr. Hadia Anjum, Dr. Bushra Nawaz, Dr. Waleed Bin Wahid, Shahbaz Ahmed Khan, Mubashar ul Hassan, Hassan Ashraf, Waqas Bin Wahid, Dr. Zafar, Dr. Ghazanfar Gul and other officers, faculty members, and staff.

The ceremony concluded with a renewed commitment to uphold the spirit of independence and to continue working collectively for the advancement of SZABMU and the progress and prosperity of Pakistan.
