The Office of Research, Innovation and Commercialization (ORIC), Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto Medical University (SZABMU), Islamabad, participated in the 1st International Conference on Recycling (ICOR 2026) held on 10 June 2026 at Serena Hotel, Faisalabad, organized by the University of Kamalia and Government College University (GCU), Faisalabad.

The conference brought together over 400 participants, including 200 industries and 100 CEOs, providing an excellent platform for networking and collaboration. Dr. Bushra Gul, Coordinator ORIC SZABMU, attended the conference as a Guest of Honor and represented the university in discussions with industry leaders, researchers, and policymakers.

The event offered valuable opportunities to strengthen industry - academia linkages, explore research collaborations, and discuss innovative approaches to medical waste management and recycling. ORIC SZABMU remains committed to fostering partnerships that promote research, innovation, and sustainable development.
