ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
- Candidate must possess MBBS/BDS or equivalent degree registered by PMC.
- Must possess one-year house job from a PMC recognized Institution.
- Permanent valid registration with PMC.
- Declared successful in MD/MS/MDS/M.Sc/M.Phil Part-I for University programs on 15 December 2019 and 08 November 2020.
- Declared successful in FCPS Part-I examination 2020 & 2019 for CPSP training programs Level-I.
- In case of foreign candidate, valid registration with Medical Council of their country of origin must be produced.
- Only top 05 candidates will be short listed against one seat.
- Preference will be given to those applicants who have publication in HEC, PMC or CPSP’s recognized journal in relevant subject.
- Only short listed candidates will be called for interview. Decision of Selection Committee will be final.
REQUIRED DOCUMENTS (in hard copy)
- Copy of duly signed online submitted Application form along with documents should reach Registrar Office, Admissions & Registration Department, Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto Medical University, Islamabad before closing date i.e 14th December 2020.
- University will not consider online applications that are incomplete or have not been submitted within the stipulated deadline.
- Attested copies of following documents must be attached with online application form
- CNIC
- Domicile
- MBBS/BDS all Professional attempts certificates (for foreigner NEB attempts certificate)
- MBBS/BDS all Professional Transcripts
- MBBS/BDS Degree
- PMC Valid Permanent registration certificate
- Part-I Pass certificate
- Publication in HEC, PMC or CPSP recognized Journals
- Experience certificate (Public Sector)
- Paid Fee Challan
PROCEDURE FOR ADMISSIONS
The procedure for admission is as follows
- For MD/MS/MDS/FCPS/M.Phil/M.Sc Admission Form must be filled online at admissions.szabmu.edu.pk
- Applicants can apply only in one Degree Programme MD/MS/MDS/FCPS/M.Phil/M.Sc.
- Applicants has chosen Degree Level MD/MS/MDS/FCPS/M.Phil/M.Sc. they can apply in maximum 02 Specialty.
- Application processing fee is Rs. 2000 for each Specialty.
- In case of incorrect information, the University has the right to cancel the application for admission without any fee refund.
GENERAL INFORMATION
- Selection of candidate will be strictly on open merit basis.
- Candidates who are Government Servants/serving in Autonomous bodies should apply through proper channel. Advance applications will only be considered in case their applications through proper channel are received before interview. NOC will be required to join the course if selected in the case of such candidate.
- Candidate shall submit affidavit that they shall not leave training in between. Candidates who are already under training in other Institutions and registered with CPSP/University or has completed training at SZABMU and not passed the degree/diploma shall not be entertained for other program in same/other discipline. Candidates shall be admitted in 1st year of residency program.
- Last date for submissions of online application forms is 14 December 2020.
