I am honored to serve as the Registrar of Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto Medical University (SZABMU), Islamabad, where excellence in Medical Education, Research, Innovation and Service is our highest priority.

Vision

SZABMU under the vision of Vice Chancellor shall strive its best to reach the highest level of recognition both at national and international level in academics and medical research.

The top priorities of the Registrar Office to promote the learning and innovation through basics of learning i.e. knowledge, skill and change in behavior.

To work as a strong team: for delivery of the health care to the public at large.

To expand and produce graduates through quality enhancement in Basic Medical Sciences, Nursing and Allied Health Sciences.

To convert semester system of education as per HEC requirements.

To develop and implement an objective and structural based system of evaluation of all academic programs.

To promote evidence based medical practice through innovation, medical research, collaboration and scholarships funded HEC and also given by this University.

To promote audit of academic and research activities.

The objectives shall be achieved through Honesty, Integrity and Mutual Respect for Humanity. Through a continuum system of lifelong learning. Through professional development of Faculty and Staff of SZABMU with the backing of strong governance system. Through personal, institutional and professional accountabilities.

Lastly, by bringing improvement in our programs through process of sustainable development and continues professional trainings.

The Aim of Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto Medical University, Islamabad (SZABMU) is to promote health care delivery system at the grass root level by promoting professional competency of the health care providers through learning and innovation.
